Finally got the Trans Am's electrical sorted out. For some reason the negative cable from the battery was working when hooked to my multi-meter, but was not working when on the car. I replaced that and the car seems to be working. Go figure. Bad news: I still can't fit my shaker scoop under the hood. I or someone needs to fabricate a custom shaker base that works with my car. I need to drop the scoop a couple inches and move it two inches or so back from where the stock base locates it.

If you have access to the proper tools maybe make a cardboard template base then mold one/cut one out of a proper material?

The problem is I just don't have the skills or tools to do a proper job.

Make a template that works, find someone that can, give them the cardboard and scoop and say "Here. Make scoop work."
